2020 Springfield Train Show
Posted by SeeYou190 on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 10:54 AM

Hate to use the forum for a question I should be able to Google, but I am on my work computer and "entertainment" sites are blocked.

.

I need to know the dates for the BIG train show in Springfield in 2020. I have never been, and I am going to plan my vacation to include a day at this show.

.

On June 1st the system opened for salary employees to request vacation time in 2020, so I want to get my request in as soon as possible.

.

Thanks.

.

You are going to just freeze to death, being from Florida and coming to MA in the middle of winter  Big Smile

One of these years I will make it there, it's always the end of January and that's my oldest's birthday. This date looks possible though, it's the weekend ahead of his birhday instead of being right over it.

I have belonged to the society for many years. It has never been in Springfield. Many still insist on the Springfield show.

It has always been in West Springfield across a river. The Big E fairgrounds. Two different cities.

They will come up wil more detals in December and how to order tickets online, maps, vendors.

I have been going since it was a one building one day and now a two day four building two day with NG steam outside. Good transportation in the area. Others will tell you. I think the site will also tell you later.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.

Well drat, as luck would have it, I will need to be elsewhere the week prior to that date.

.

Thank you to all that responded... maybe 2021 will be my year for Springfield.

.

I will just try to get to Timonium in 2020.

Just for planning purposes, the show is usually schedlued on the weekend between the end of the NFL playoffs and the Superbowl.

That is a good weekend to slide it into.

.

I honestly hope I can make it there for the show in 2021.

.

I have heard about the grandness of this show for years.
