MEC had quite a few F3As, but only 2 F3Bs. 671 and 672 had their B units permantly coupled.

Hard to believe these were once "cutting-edge" locomotives!

24 hours, no six axle Alcos, and a bump to the top.

Here is a scene on the HO layout in the Utah Railroad Museum.

One of my favourites and my first brass locomotive, is this re-motored and modified ex-B&M B-15 Mogul....

Happy Sunday, and another small steamer as requested. This was also at the Utah Railroad Museum's HO scale layout.

A BN caboose fades into the distance as an Empire Builder train awaits additional passengers.

More BN cabooses (cabeese?) if you please...

I'm beginning to realize that Windows 10 and sound decoders have a lot in common. There are so many things you have to change in order to get them to work the way you want.

It has been a day and no BN caboose. I have a G scale one outside but it is raining so I'm not inclined to go photograph it.

Here's a caboose of the late, great PRR:

Show me another caboose, please. Bonus for a color other than red.

IN the 60s MEC painted their cabooses yellow with green roofs. This is one I kitbashed similar to a bunch made in MEC shops converted from 40' boxcars

New York Central #4053 is shown before the number boards were completed. It was one of three locomotives painted in NYCs Jade Green.

How about a maroon loco?
