I use Imgur, free, fast and photos are easy to add to posts, all you have to do is copy the direct link address from the post, and paste it into the source box on the forum image interface in the post writer.

If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough!

Could be, there are other fans of that service, so I must have encountered other links and they all worked.

After you upload an image there you will be taken to a page with the dialog box.  The default embed code is 'BBcode full'.  Keep that.  Copy and paste that entire img code line into your post.  It works.  The error could have been a BBer using the wrong code selection.

Right after I read your post, I went to Jeffrey's Trackside Diner and clicked on a photo hosted at this site.  All I got was the imgbb homepage.

Easy to use, just register and upload.  Image code appears in a box, just copy and paste into post.  You don't have to be signed in for image to work, I tried it.  -Rob
