Is he still having fun? Interview with Jason Shron of Rapido Trains
Posted by JDL56 on Sunday, July 08, 2018 9:10 AM

Is he still having fun? That's the question I asked Jason Shron of Rapido Trains Inc. I also asked him what he has learned about manufacturing since starting Rapido; things he'd do differently; satisfactions and worries; what he wishes model railroaders knew about making model trains; technology and model railroading; and the future of the hobby.

Nice!!!  And, it's good to get a bit of a face splash from the one person in the industry who is willing to make clear just how tricky, demanding, costly, and compelling the hobby can be, both for the purveyors of the goods and for those who await them with high expectations.  Including low cost.  If you want really good stuff, you shouldnt expect it to come quickly or cheaply.

I don't need to read an interview to answer that question; I already know the answer.  The real question is, when isn't Jason having fun?  He is a real hoot.
