Telescoping Forklifts In HO
Posted by jjdamnit on Monday, April 16, 2018 11:25 AM

Hello all,

Does anyone know of a source for telescoping forklifts in HO?

I realize that this would be a great kit-bashing/scratch build but I've got so many "I'll get around to it eventually" projects that I'd rather just buy them.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I found mine in Ebay, look in diecast and toy vehicles, construction.

You'll probably end up buying it from a dealer in China, but I've never had problem.  Sometimes shipping takes a while.  Sometimes you'll find one from a dealer in the US.

Mine came with a bucket, so I'm going to scratch a set of forks for it.

Good luck

Mike.

Hello all,

mbinsewi
I found mine in Ebay, look in diecast and toy vehicles, construction.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have been searching eBay for months with no luck.

I have found a telescoping boom loader. I could easily kit bash a set of forks for this unit.

But the shipping cost is more than the unit itself!

Again, thank you for your suggestion.

Here's one I found just now.

https://www.ebay.com/p/1-87-JCB-535-125-Telescopic-Forklift-Diecast-Truck-Yellow-Color-Model/4013125589?iid=391973873366

Shipping will take a while, it's from China.

Look in "Diecast and Toy Vehicles, click on construction, select 1:87 scale.

 JJ,

If you don't mind ordering from E-bay from China. Hop in eBay and type in 1:87 JCB telescopic forklift. Forget the price but it's a decent model without kitbashing. Should be what you're looking for.

Just picked up two 1:87 die cast/plastic Hyundai 250D-E7 yard size forklifts. These are light-years ahead of other HO forklifts. Great detailing !

Glad I could help. Gonna take about two weeks from across the pond to receive them. Please share your scene when completed.
