I'm a member of Orange County Module Railroaders, The club sets up the layout and does about 8-10 shows every year, but since I always pick the shows that are close to home, none of my Athearn/Athearn Genesis locomotives have burned a headlight yet.
I guess I've just been getting lucky so far...

I do not think that this has been mentioned yet; if yes, I apologize. It seems that Athearn finally listened to all customers who hated their little incandescent bulbs. According to the newest announcement
new models come with LEDs.
