Keeping track clean
Posted by wblock on Thursday, April 5, 2018 12:06 PM

I seem to be having an awful time keeping my track clean. It seems that even after a few days of non-use some of my locos don't run as they should. If I clean the track they run better.

I live in Arizona and I don't know if the dry weather has any effect. I'm also in N scale and have thought about getting a track cleaning car but in N they are pretty expensive.

Any thoughts about what I can do?

I live in Arizona as well, and I use denatured alcohol and elbow grease.  Track gets dirty no matter where you live.  And, yes, there are loads of threads on this forum where everyone promotes their favorite track cleaning method.
