Southgate

That's some serious big equipment! Impressive, even if I'm not well versed in steel production. I once watched a scrap yard Cat crane similar to yours flip and toss a class 8 Freightliner tractor around like a Tonka. I'd like to see all this equipment in it's final setting. Dan

 Thanks Dan,

I have so many things to scratch build. Gonna take a while to be placed. I'll share my progress from time to time.

Thanks Dave, but I'm a bigger fan of your modeling.

Thanks. Mike, if I remember correctly. Aren't you a modeler of steel ? Heavy industry ?

This gantry crane doesn't have to be a slag ladle crane. I have another trolley in the build process for an electro magnet (cheap change of scenery). It has dozens of possibilities for industrial use. It was a fun/frustrating build .

Going to build an HO E-crane next to load barges.
