Hey Mike,

It's always good to see a plan come together. High fives all around.

Now, I think I'll go back to carving rocks . . .

Mike, I'm very sad.   Crying

I liked the old way.   Whistling

It had a sort of elegance.  Smile, Wink & Grin

When you go in to edit your signature, on the right hand side you should see a small button that says "HTML".

Click that, and it will pop up an editor that allows you to edit the signature in raw "code" form. That is where you want to paste that block of text. Otherwise the forum treats the opening and closing command symbols as "plain text", and does not format the links properly.

Clear out that pop up box completely, and type a few words such as "GraniteRailroader Left Out Important Details, What A Total JERK!", save it, and then repeat the process re-pasting in your links.

Mea culpa,

Chris

I do all my posting in Word then copy and paste to the forum.  I did the same thing building up my signature post.  I did a copy from Word and pasted it over the defunct signature and it worked.

Mel, please explain, where do I paste it all after I've copied?  I'm not understanding something.

Mike I had a similar problem a couple of years ago and the MR staff told me to do a copy and paste and it worked.

Ya, thanks Rich, Laugh

Just like the last time I tried to delete my signature, as people were telling me it ran off the page.

I spent the weekend trying to delete it, with no help from forum officials, they said nothing they could do.

I guess I'll just keep trying. Bang Head

mbinsewi

I just tried to change things and maybe bring back some of my signature links.

Well, it didn't work, and now I can't get the mess to delete. Geez.

Should have left well enough alone.

Mike.

To clear it try putting spaces in the signature box then save...

I'm trying to get the whole mess deleted, but it isn't happening.  Igo into settings, erase and delete it all, click on save on the bottom of the page, but it keeps coming back.

This is the same problem I had trying to delete the signature that ran off of everybodies page.

Very frustrating!  Angry

Why not try changing the text of the link? Where all the displays is "my website" or something like that...

Hey Mike-

I'll see if I can add your links to my signature. If it works, I'll send you the steps how I did it.
