I have a 2010 year model of the MTH big boy. I had it a long time, and suddenly one day, just stopped running. I called MTH in MD and I was getting ready to not see this engine for at least 6 months. But they gave me an address in St Joseph MI which caught my attention. So I sent it on 1/24. Guess what? It arrived today running better than ever. 2 WEEKS!!!!!. Unheard of. I have sent engines there in the past many times, and never in that short of time, did I receive it back that fast. So thanks St Joe's of MI

That's good news. Good to know as I'm actually planning on purchasing some MTH equiment in the future (LOL, no way in the world I would have even thought that a decade ago!). I like their Empire State Express passenger equipment and, especially, the New York City IRT subway cars.
Glad that MTH is on the up-and-up for customer repair/warranty issues.
