How about an interesting trackside structure.

Show me another freight car that is very special to you, please.

This "torpedo" bottle car was given to me by a good friend as a retirement gift.

Show me another different kind of load.

.

Wow, another 24 hours and no Show Me Something responses.

.

I thought for sure that a hopper car full of Christmas Ornaments would have generated some sort of a response. That was a solid gold idea if there ever was one!

.

Oh wait, that as not solid gold... THIS is solid gold!

.

This is a hopper car that I painted right before my wedding day in 1988. It must have worked, because Mary and I are still together. 30 years next year! It is just a cheap old plastic N scale hopper car, but it is a special treasure for me.

Show me another freight car that is very special to you, please.

Show me another kind of hopper, like maybe wood chips??

.

Well, it is not wood chips, but it is a different kind of load!

.

I got this picture of a Garfield Central hopper at a grade crossing carrying a load of Christmas ornaments!

Show me another different kind of load.

Two days with no responses, and Show Me Something slipped to page 2!

.

Unacceptable!

.

These are the only two STRATTON & GILLETTE covered hoppers that I have. They are both brass models by Precision Scale.

Please show me your covered hoppers!

It has been more than a day, so time change the theme.

Thanksgiving in USA is next week; show me some folks heading home for the holiday.

For the second season LL Bean has invited Boothbay Railway Village to bring the Christmas layout to their store. We finished the setup last night. (Just for something a bit different, more to come in WPF.)
