Atlas Right Track Freeware download site, Safe?
Posted by hardcoalcase on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 8:37 PM

I've used Right Track 8.0 freeware downloaded from a Yahoo Group site, for some years (it is reported to be better than 10.0).  Due to a recent malware incident, I need to wipe my hard drive and re-install programs.  I can't find the original Yahoo Group 8.0 site, but google notes the following:

https://get.storagedownloadquick.download/

Anyone have experience with this?  Is it legit?

I'm aware that Atlas has a new SCRAM version, but I can't open my old Right Track files 8.0 files with it

Any insight would be welcomed.

Jim

I didn't try that link but it doesn't look good just by looking at the name.

Your best bet is if someone here saved that version and can e-mail it to you. I have 9 which is SCRAM.

I have 8.0 that I would be happy to send to you.  Just get back to me, with a personal message if you like, with your email address.  Alternatively, you can probably use that link and download the program, but run an anti malware program BEFORE you open the program.  Depends on how much risk you are willing to take.

That trainweb site is where I downloaded Ver 8 and I have never had any problems with the software.

Sometimes downloads from third parties have a few 'little-extras' added on to them. Nothing is free. If you are not the customer, then you are the product.

Can't you get it from the Atlas website?

Thanks to all for the response!  I downloaded 8.0 from Trainweb and all seems well.
