I've never called them but have written them a few years ago about one of my locos that needed repair. Instead of telling me to send it in for repair they sent me the parts... Oh well. The loco has since been replaced and the broken one sold so that problem has been solved.

I will tell you that when I finally got a real person and explained that the last two tries resulted in no answer after the transfer from the taped messages, she was quick to transfer me to the service dept and made sure that I knew she was not going to hang up until after the transfer was complete.

I made the calls yesterday.  Everything is now cool and any possible issues have been resolved.

When did you call? If it was July 3. I think they were either closed or swamped I called July 5 and they answered on the first ring.

Making a long story short I sent to locomotives in for repairs and had them back in less than a week.

Ok, after three more tries I finally talked to a real person at Bachmann.  Issue resolved for now.

I did that, and after I got past the taped instruction I was transferred and the phone just rang and rang.

Look at the Bachmann website under Repairs. Numbers there.

Company reps in the forums also.

Does anyone have a number at Bachmann Trains that will, at least eventually, allow me to talk to a real person, with a real voice?
