I mailed a loco on Friday the 21st to Bachmann. Last night thinking I mailed it on the 14th I e-mailed Bachmann's Service Dept. asking if they had received it. In the morning I received a reply saying it was on its way back.
This afternoon it was on my front porch.
Unbelievable. AND there was no charge.

Very nice.
I have had good service from Bachmann in the past. They have a nice loco replacement policy.
I have read in the Bachmann forums, not all have.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
I've had 2 encounters with their service...
I bought a Spectrum 4-6-0....tbh, I broke it. It wasn't really broken, I was bored back then and disassembled it when I was only 10 yrs old, so I didnt know how to reassemble it. I sent it in, and they said that they couldn't fix it....
So they said that they could either replace it with a Spec 2-8-0 or a Spec modernized 4-4-0. Being an idiot back then, I chose the 4-4-0....The replcing took 1 month before I got the engine back.
Then, that 4-4-0 broke again, this time from running it, one of the pistons broke off. They REPLACED that one again, with yet another 4-4-0.
I learned that hard way to never send anything back to Bachmann.... because they will probably just replace it... That's why when my k4s PRR broke I decided to save it for the future to fix. And whatdoyaknow, now its running like new on my layout with lots of superdetailing added!
