Hello guys, does anyone out there know where I can get a # 2427 cab or a # 3675 pilot ? these are Mantua/Tyco part numbers. Ty for any help.
Teedoff8659,
I suggest getting in touch with these people and ask if they have the parts You are seeking. They have picked up many parts from Model Power, who was in control of Mantua/Tyco.

I have gotten both of those parts from Yardbirds. Be aware they offer different types of pilots for the larger engines.

As others have posted, Yardbird is one possible source. I went to their website and not much Mantua parts listed (your wants included). A phone call is in order to see what they actually have.
Another possible place to check is MRC. They now handle Model Power, who took over the "Mantua Classics". Their website does not list parts, but I would call to check if they have any "lying around". I always manage to track down parts when I talk to a live person on the other end.

A third possible source is Ebay. Mantua parts are always popping up when I check.
Good luck.

Modeling the C&O New River Subdivision circa 1949 for the fun of it!
One other place is to check Craigslist and look into the yard sale, collectors or toys, someone is always selling Tyco stuff there. BUT I would urge caution. if you find someone who has what you are looking for meet in a public place. If they are unwilling to do so dont bother.
If you are on Facebook there are several pages devoted to the TYCO/Mantua brands and you may find what you need there.
