One minute tour

This is a "work in progress" video of my HO layout and miniatures studio that I am building.  It's a short trip.  It's a simple, small railroad.  A lot of the scenery will be removable, so I can create a varity of sets/scenes for photos and video clips.

It's available in HD, so pretty good pausing...too good from a lot of angles. Embarrassed

For those audio buffs, good ear gear helps.

Nicely done. Very smooth camera work and the view looking back at the engine was well done.

Although I enjoy the mrr hobby very much, the project is actually more about modeling and photography/video than railroading, so your comments are encouraging.  Thanks, Mark. Smile

Short and sweet! The view from directly in front of the E8 is very nice.

Ditto!

Nice camera work! What did you use to film it with?

Mike and Bear: Thanks, guys.  Your interest and support of my work are always appreciated.

Bob:  Thank you.  Sony HDR Handycam.  Biggest lens, best image stabilization tech and the most complete manual settings in a small, lightweight HD camcorder that I could find.  The down side is that the hand strap and built-in USB cable are not removable, and make it restrictive due to clearances; i.e., it won't fit through tunnels.  I wanted something smaller, like a flash camcorder, but I couldn't find one with good image stabilization, manual white balance and other features that I require.  I think that will come in a relatively short time, though.
