Wow, an SD40-2 working a yard. That's some yard switcher! I like to use a GP40 from time to time, just like CSX will do w/ some of those Ex Chessie units.

Well...this isn't exactly an SD40-2, but it has the same frame and body shape: an SD38-2.  IIRC, yard service is the only thing CSX ever used these units for.

A custom painted/decaled NSGP35 sits in J and B scrap yard waiting for a loaded gondola of cubes on the Mid Mon Valley Model railroad club layout.  Show me something on a club layout

The Middle Georgia Model Railroad Club puts on an annual event at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins, Ga.  Seen in the photo is the HO scale layout in center and the N scale group to the right, surrounded by various aircraft.

MEC 263 and BM 1715 are both weathered, as well as the abandoned interlocking tower
