Hornby though is manufacturing these under the Rivarossi name?

Yes, Rivarossi is now part of the Hornby group.

I believe NP was one of the roadnames, If they aren't too pricy I may pick a pair up as I can't have SP&S C424's without the Pre BN high horsepower U boats and SD45's.

speaking of which I should get some GN SD45's...

SP&S modeler, 1960's give or take a decade or two for some equipment.

Guys,

Last weekend I visited the Nuremburg Toy Fair in Germany. Rivarossi had almost finished samples of its new U25C in h0 scale. I'm not a specialist on the U25C, but the model looked quite nice with lots of detail. The shiny parts are etched metal.
There also was an N scale model that's sold under the Arnold brand name in Europe.

Cornelius Koelewijn.
