Has anyone a good suggestion how to fix a drive wheel to the axle so that it will not slip around and cause the con rods to lock-up? The problem as I see it is that as nearly all driver wheels are plastic spoked/centred they are press fitted onto the metal axle. If for some reason they start to slip--usually without warning-- it seems near impossible to fix them to prevent this. I have a Bachman + Northern 4-8-4 and one driver keeps slipping & locking up the rods. Have tried super glue. Not much else comes to mind. If only the centres were metal you might be able to solder the problem. How about it all you experts?[?][:(]
