I think this is good for the first buyers of the NYC Hudson if they are having problems. I do not own this version and would like comments to know if the first engines were less than the present quality or did they have the
Regulated Throttle control in the software that MTH is talking about.

Hudson Trade-In Program
LIMITED TO AVAILABLE SUPPLY ONLY.

Customers who currently own Hudson models with BLI stock #'s 001-003, 020-022, 999 now have the opportunity to trade in their units for the more advanced model, now available.
To take advantage of this offer, customers should return both the locomotive and tender of the original unit with all parts intact and in its original box (instruction manuals and warranty cards not necessary) directly to Broadway Limited Imports, LLC. Models should include check, money order or credit card information to cover $99 plus $8 shipping and handling to the Continental US. International customers will be responsible for actual shipping costs to and from BLI. Items will be replaced roadnumber-for-roadnumber only--no item switching will be allowed.

Replacements will be honored only while supplies last (no back orders) and on a first in, first out basis.
