Hey everybody, One of the big guys at school got a ton of American Flyer stuff, all dated to the 50's. Almost all of it is unfunctional (the idea is to rebuild the engines and clean the tracks). Seeing as I may well be the one with the most experience at what may become a railroaders club, I figured i should do some reasearch. We already are getting a bunch of replacement parts for the engines. I also have the '52 manual from American Flyer/A.C. Gilbert. If anyone has any tips on care, repair, functioning or anything else, please stick it here. Eager to get down and dirty with that tube of lube (motor oil, that is), Shmee
