Just looking for thoughts from anyone who went to the Amherst Railway Society show this past weekend.

I have mostly good impressions. I'm just getting started,(after a 20 year break) and I found some really good deals. Esp from Valley Hobbies of CT. I've seen him at other shows and he always has really good prices. Also, it's always fun just to stroll around and check things out, get ideas, find things to add to the wish list, etc

On the other hand, the price was up 1 dollar from last year, and you have to pay to park (which I know isn't ARS fault). So it's $11.00 just to get in the door. And some of the vendors in there, I swear they inflate their price for the show. And the folks selling beat up crap rolling stock for 5-10 dollars. Cmon people!

Can't wait til next year! Always fun.
