I was wondering if any of you know if there has ever been a brass model of the MK1500 ( like the ones operated by the PTRA in Houston Texas)released, or if there is any way to eaisly model one. one of these would go great on my southeast Texas layout i am planning.

Since this design is quite new and only a handful of locomotives are out there, no one has made a commercial model yet. They do use Blomberg trucks as do EMD's, but the rest would be a scratchbuiding job. Understand EMD is now marketing these engines as its own smaller power, with 1500 and 2000 hp options.
