Jeff, I had two of the Athearn mikes, one ran great for about a month then samething happened the cheap main gear just fell apart, the other mike was bad from day one, drivers where all out of whack send it in, came back 2months later, but after a month same thing the main drive gear broke in half. The gear was made of that cheap nylon plastic. Then like a dummy I pick-up one of the 4-6-2's runs ok but can only pull one combine,up a 2% grade my BWL light mike can pull 16 freight cars up the same grade.

Well last day of vac. I was at grandcrossing at 2:30 this morning there was a east bound just getting ready to pull out from changing crews 6 NS GE's had a huge mixed freight, 108 cars.

Started putting two Walthers backshops kits together for a freind of mind, they have been sitting in the basement now for about 6 months so I thought it was time. He's getting alittle antsy, I told him a could be awhile, i'm doing them for free, if i where being paid i would do them asap. When these are done thats it for other peoples stuff, I have way to much of my own to do.

Have a good day all of you that have to work today, i'll be thinking of you while playing I mean working in the basement. ( tomorrow you can all pick on me, when I have to get up at 3:00am for work and your off.)
