<p>Let's not forget the image of a Great Northern S-2 class 4-8-4 muscling the Empire Builder between Breckenridge and Havre. [:D] As a little girl, I made the trip between Portland and Chicago many times, and it has certainly left a lasting impression on me. Also rode the Shasta Daylight several times, but it never impressed me quite as much.</p>
