I saw advertized in Railroad Model Craftsman several months ago a cradle used for listing locomotives on and off the track with actually having to handle it. It was a case of where there was a plastic box with a metal bottom, that had little ramps at the end and there was an HO Gauge hole in the middle to hold the trains. THere were gates on the end to keep it from rolling off. The problam I am having is I cant remember the company that made this name. Maybe fellow forum members know? In any event, I am sure you can use this aproach on a lenghtened scale to hold an entire train or section of train. The pricess is simple eneugh I am sure one could be home made if the company doesn't make them in the lenght neccissary.

James.
