Back in the 50s and 60s there was a 2 rail O scale layout in the St Paul Union station. Does anyone know whatever happened to that club/layout????? Also there was an HO club in Shakopee, in the upstairs of a hobby shop,...The club was called the Progress Valley Model RR Club. Anyone recall that one??? My brother was a junior member of the PV. We moved away from Minneapolis in 1968, and never heard about these clubs again, but always wondered about them. I had met several of the members as on ocassion I would visit the layouts. There was a real funny guy in the PV that 'invented' a fictious mineral so he could could build a mine on his home layout in the way he wanted, and no one could criticise it for not being prototypical. The mineral was called 'peroit' peer-E-ott anyone remember this???? He was rather famous in the twin cities back then.

Jennifer
