Looking for Athearn 1373 - Station Wagon Kits
Posted by newusername on Monday, June 11, 2007 12:23 PM
Hi  ...  Can anyone lead me to a hobby shop that has some of the Athearn HO scale Station Wagon kits, Item 1373, which Athearn re-produced in April of this year?  They came 6 to a box and I understand this latest production run contained some painted orange and some black.  Horizon Hobby indicates they are no longer in stock.  Thanks for any help!

I know this is 11 years late, but I have 10 of them if you are still interested.

Newusername last posted in 2017, but he could still be lurking.  Could he be that patient though?

I actually have one or two.  They came with the old Athearn open 4-car autorack with my first train set, which I bought in the 1950s.

They are thin plastic, even the wheels, and had no interiors.  But, they were perfect for autoracks since they are very light.  Those die cast metal models look nicer, but the old autoracks weren't built for them.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

I really ought to get one- they are close to a 57 Dodge station wagon which my father had. He traveled around a lot of the country in it. I try to keep an eye open at swap meets.
