Groton, Connecticut. Submarine Capital of the World. Home of the U.S.'s largest submarine builder, Electric Boat and also home to the U.S. Naval Submarine Base New London. (Don't ask why NAVSUBASE New London is in Groton. The answer is long, involved, and not particularly interesting.) <br /> <br />Can you tell that I'm a retired Navy submariner?
