For Kato Engines, Dip for 6 hours in Pine Sol (real stuff, not dollar store knock offs), then wash and drop in 99% Rubbing Alcohol. For P2K and P1K, straight 99% rubbing alcohol. Athearn (older) I use 99% Rubbing Alcohol as well. For engines already painted with Badger ModelFlex, 70% Rubbing Alcohol works well.
