Welcome Aboard, Mark! I joined this forum just yesterday and it's been helpful to me in a big way. Lot of folks visit the site who have a wealth of knowledge to share. I began a small layout a few months ago and it's a load of fun, just watching the trains run--with no scenery or buildings in place, even! Consider freelancing your own pike--it can be just as interesting to let your imagination run wild with the endless choices stemming from creating something that didn't actually exist in the real world.
