I just picked up the 350 and really like it. I had the Tech2 dual controller and couldn't get my trains to climb a grade at a realistic speed, now my loco's climb like no tomorrow. Look at the box or specs and see what the VA rating is on the Dual you find it lower hence a lack of performance. Good luck.
