Trying to make a Highway grade Crossing Signal

I would probably use Plastruct or Evergreen styrene structural shapes. The material is alot easier to work with and I use the plain ole Testor's model airplane glue applied sparingly for almost seamless joints. Between the two manufacturers, you can get just about any shape & in size imaginable. Looks like all that is needed is round tubing, some flat stripes, signal masts, & LEDs and ur in business. For the heighr I'm guessing, from trains at grade crossing photos, about 24'. RR rules stipulate objects over the tracks be like 21' or 22' above the railhead. Don't quote me on that, its my sixth grade educated giant brain in maximum overdrive. Tweet<br>
