Mike,
I am modeling an early Kennicott Water Treatment Plant, (Oneida, NY, NYO&W, circa 1910)which was a steel tank. After the water was softened, it was pumped into an early style O&W water tank and used by O&W steam locomotives in the area.

The interesting part of the tank is an adjacent circular staircase about 45' high that provided access to its towerhouse that contained machinery for mixing the water softening chemicals.

I have cast and drilled the pie shaped steps and need handrail supports to feed a thin wire (the hand rail itself) through so that it spirals to the top, complimenting the step easement. The handrail is about 36" high. Part of the eyebolt needs to go through the step to support it and be clipped off below. You are right about the 43" or so.

Got any ideas?
JOE BUX
