THE CENTER REVIT,IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SWITCH,WANT TO HANG UP ON SMALL STEAM ENGINES,WE JUST REPLACED WITH NEW 72 IN SWITCH,SAME PROBLEM,DOESNT SEEM TO HANG UP ON SD-60 ( SOO )MAYBE BECASUE PICKUPS ARE MORE FAR APART????,IS THERE ANY WAY TO LOWER THAT WHOLE METAL SECTION OF SWITCH,ANY SUGGESTIONS WE WILL TRY,=THANKS >HUB

Not a whole lot to go on, but,,,I suspect that the turnout you are using has an insulated frog. If this is the case, the longer wheelbase locos will roll right through, but an 0-6-0, or 0-4-0, or even a four wheel diesel might not. You can check to see if,,the point rails have power all the time, and are insulated from each other. if this is the case you have an insulated, or "dead" frog.
