Waybills and Car Cards
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, November 21, 2003 12:27 PM
Would anyone know where to get the kind of waybills and car cards that were sold by Old Line Graphics? I know there are some available through MicroMark but they appear to be too small. Thanks for any help.

I use a3 x 5 index card, that I type on the type of car ,ie Box Hopper etc., the Road name, car #, and any other info I might want to put on it. My way bills are 11/2 x 11/2'' and have the industry or siding the car is to be sent to on one side and on the other side, directions for what to do with the car when it is picked up. The way bills are mixed up and then drawn at random, attached to the the proper car card of a car in the yard and then it is sent out.

I ordered the Car Cards from Shipit. The software makes a nice CarCard and Waybill.

If you have Microsoft Access 97 or 2000 database software, I have a shareware application in the files section of the car cards user group. Makes car cards, waybills, and special use cards plus inventories your equipment.

Only catch is you have to have MS Access 97 (or 2K).

Just wanted to mention that the Old Line Graphics (McFall) cards aren't all that big either. Nowhere near 3x5 if that's what some of you were ASSuming.

Hope this helps...
