It's easier to help you correct the problem if we can see it.</P> <P>Hou did you start the layout? Did you lay your track first and then build the mountain? Tipically trains didn't go over the mountains they went through them. Trains can only pull up to a 7 degree grade. Normally the tracks are laid to conform a 2 to 4 degree grade. Transversing mountains can be accomplished in several different ways. A long gradual climb, Helex, bridges and tunnels to name a few. Pictures will help determine what would be the best method for your layout. </P> <P>There is a lot of material published on the subject.
