greetings all,

Well managed to drop by today for a short visit. A lot has been happening here. I guess I should start by saying it looks like Mom and me will be making our home in Hattiesburg, Ms. We signed a contract to purchase some land there. It is 3 1/2 acres with an old wood frame house and two out buildings on the property. I plan to move the big house back on the property and remodel it for mom and me to live in for the time being. Once there I will build our home on the site where I moved the big house from.

We have a couple that are mentally changelled that we have adopted. One of the buildings on the property was a apartment that I will remodel for them. These are good people that tend to be used by every one that they come in contact with. We figured we can stop that if we adopted them.

Once our house is built we will then move them into the big house. They will live there for as long as they want to.

Hattiesburg has three major railroads that come through. The NS, KCS, CN, and Amtrak.

There is a railroad museum at McComb Ms. and I managed some photos of some old ICRR stuf.

This is an aluminum reefer and is the only one built.

ICRR 4-8-2 Heavy Mountain # 2542 displayed at the museum.

More bad news: Mom's Father passed away this past week. He left home early that morning to go take care of some business. When he didn't come home that evening they started looking for him. He had gone back to the old family property and they found him setting under a large live oak. It was like he knew he was going home. He was 89.

Bout all I have at this time.

Neal
