It's nice to know that the next ambulance I hear is not coming to carry me away to the "funny farm" - is that PI - politically incorrect???

I had been making a post to your new road name topic and went out to google to make sure some information was correct - and before I could come back to trains.com and the forum I crashed/hung up requiring a power down to recover my machine - (naturally I lost my post to your "new name" topic) - I spent thirty minutes sending a "nastygram" to MSN TV, my ISP; when I tried to reaccess trains.com it took me another half an hour before it came up; when I have to power down I almost always clear my cookies and I thought that that was maybe one of the problems I was experienceing and I was about ready to send another "nastygram" to MSN TV. And then, suddenly, out of nowhere, everything came back up; trains.com's server must have crashed; I have no experience programming micro-systems except as slaves to mainframes and the terminology is a bit different but this happens frequently in the computer environement.

Ring!Ring!

"My computer is down!"
"I've got news for you; everybody's computer is down!!"

Ring!Ring!

"My computer is down!"
etc. etc. etc. ad infinitum! ad nauseum!

Maybe - but I doubt it - Bergie will give us an explanation - with many, many years in the computer business (maintenance and operations in the Air Force; operations and programming in the white collar world) I get naturally curious about such things.

As an aside maybe I'm mistaken about this but about two months ago didn't I send you a personal e-mail through the forum about who-can-remember-what? Anyway let me take this time to tell you that I've enjoyed your postings.
