Pamela Anderson lives on one of the Islands close to Vancouver, British Columbia. My son had left his Safeway card at home when he went to purchase something that would be discounted if he had his card. The clerk knew Pamela Anderson's number and punched it in so my son could get his discount. So his sales receipt showed Pamela Anderson on it..... lol.

Fred,

Got my attention. It also adds a new reference for your e-signature.

hmm, I know one European railway company had a class of diesels nicknamed "la lollo" after Gina Lollabrigida, mainly due to the shape of the cabs below the windows! Not sure how relevant this is but it's an interesting piece of trivia!

I never thought Pamela Anderson would make it in Model Railroader, but there is a connection: she's a model and this forum is about models.

Jon, I like that website. I don't see too many sites with model trains. Are those ones you took and if so what kind of camera did you use? I find it difficult to take pictures of model train without the right equipment.

Thanks Ironhorseman.

the camera is an Olympus digital camera (C300 - zoom) with 3.0 megapixels.

The pictures download directly into my computer and I post them to a web page. It's not a proper website as such, just somewhere to get some of my photos onto the web, so I can post the pics to forums, etc. I went with a Yahoo group, but there are loads of others - Geocities and Railpics to name but a couple.

hope this helps,

Jon

PS could you edit your post to remove the link to my site. Its just that the page has gotten really wide, all of a sudden.[:)]

Your using a celebrity like Pamela Anderson is a cheap and uncalled for way to call attention to your profile....Worked Great! I wish I thought of it first!
