Just imagine a good spoofer doing these commericals using NASCAR fans as the object. It would probably cost AB twice as much money as the commercials themselves to repair the damage. The best part...... if done correctly ..... spoofs are protected against copyright violations!! The reason SNL has never been sued for the stuff they do. OBTW, these commercials don't offend me. But, I have never really liked them either. From the first one I heard until now, I don't see the point in putting down certain groups of people. It may not harm AB because the groups they take aim at are marginalized but such a campaign is always one commercial away from crossing the line.
