Can anyone offer me some advice/ideas to model an Interchange yard on a 2' wide shelf layout in N Scale?

We need a little more information. Are you going to have trains interchange with your road or do you wi***o have the illusion of an interchange? How many trains per session? Is your road a branch line or a major road? Do you want a yard or an interchange track?

If the volume of the interchange is small, a single track will suffice.
