I started building HO rolling stock in the forties. I have never been sorry for choosing this scale. My layout looks like the mainline PRR 1945-1955 when I was a PRR apprentice. The range of equipment, accessories and building kits is exceptional. I am now building an Atlas catalogue home which is an exact replica of the home my father-in-law built to raise my wife in. The manufacturers of much of this equipment are very accomodating. We all owe a debt of gratitude to Bachmann and MRC in particular for offering quality products that are affordable for beginners (like my grandson) and all who are on a limited budget. These kinds of providers help make this the WGH.
