I'm just getting back into the hobby (very slowly - lots going on at the moment with my relatively new business, and a new baby...) But, here are two things I refuse to spend big bucks on: 1) Turnouts (I'm learning to handlay) 2) scenery stuff. I know it will cost some money, but I just don't want to buy a lot of stuff. I want to figure out how to use natural and non-model-railroading materials.
