Since I'm the one who started this thread way back up at the top, I figured it was time for me to chime back in.

I did read Andy's posting about the production changes - while I was still waiting for my new issue to arrive. (I finally got it earlier this week.) But a change in the production schedule doesn't address all of the concerns being expressed in this thread by your readers/subscribers. There's still the issue of newsstand editions appearing long before paying subscribers have received their copies. And there's still the issue of magazines arriving in damaged condition, with torn, soiled covers and/or wrinkled pages, something which had not happened - at least in my case - for several years thanks to plastic bagging.

So, speaking strictly for myself, the bottom line is that I've adopted a wait and see approach. If things don't dramatically improve before time to renew my subscription, I simply won't renew. As I wrote in my original posting, I see no great advantage to a subscription, given the status quo.
