Brass Track?

If you want to continually clean the track so you can run on it, keep and use the brass. It tarnishes/corrodes fairly quickly and this gunk does not conduct electricity. That's why nickle silver is now used, it's corrosion does conduct electricity OK. <br /> <br />It's up to you - save a few bucks and cause a lot of work, or choose nickle silver. <br /> <br />Bob Boudreau
