When I started my first layout over 50 years ago, good and affordable structure structure kits were not easy to find. I started out making my own using balsa wood. They were as realistic as the Suydam cardboard kits popular at the time. Many years later I enjoy kitbashing, but I also have purchased some of the Walthers built-ups. <br /> <br />I still feel that the fun of creating is as much fun as operating!!
