Anyone know where to get a 4-8-4 U2G CNR NORTHERN

The 6200 series of Northerns built for fast freight/passenger duty. My personal favourites (or the similar 6100 series and like). God, I wish SOMEONE like IHC or Athearn would offer one. On a similar vein, I flipped when Loblaws offered the 6060 from Mehano a year or so ago. It was the identical to the IHC 4-8-2 at half the price. In hindsight, I should have bought 4!!!. GOOD WORK LOBLAWS!! I will buy every one you bring out. Too bad they are so hard to find in the Montreal Area. Hobby store owners go to Ontario to buy them up and then scalp them in the Montreal area...I will refrain from mentioning their names here. ...but you guys know who you are! Shame on you. Railway robbery doesn't become you!!

Perhaps you can contact Life-Like Canada with your concerns. I agree there should be Canadian RTR steamers. Your choice of a CN 4-8-4 is good, as they can be sold as GT as well. I would find it hard to believe that there is not a market for Canadian steam. I suspect, that if Life-Like Canada did produce a U2G, dealers would be hard pressed to keep up with demand.
