One thing I know for sure: the Intermountain drives are the smoothest I have. The Genesis units look better mostly because of the windows: in the IM's, they seem too small. The thing is, they are not, they only seem so b/c of the way they're mounted in the shell. I have two IM Erie F3a units, and i'm looking to painting the inside of the shell black, or grey, where the window is mounted. Does anyone have experience with this?
