There is no set amount, you know how much extra money you have a month after you pay all your bills, utilities, etc. Of that, it's what ever you feel like spending. Me, as long as my bills are paid, foods in the cabnets to eat, gas is in the car, I'm going to spend whatever I feel like. <br /> <br />If you want to set yourself up a budget and allocate certain amount each month so you don't get crazy and overspend that's one thing, but there is no limit in what you want to spend as long as you have the money to do so.
